The "Mountain Pups" sadly came to us with Parvovirus. Teton, Everest, Lassen, Whitney, Dana, and Kea, were so named because they persevered after being abandoned in a cardboard box in the middle of a rural field. While they are strong pups, a nasty virus like parvo requires expensive medical attention.
Thankfully due to their strength, essentially veterinary attention, and home-based care, they have all recovered and have been adopted into loving homes. Their adoption fees were raised to cover part of the medical bills, but we still need to raise $1,000 to offset these expenses. Replenishing our emergency vet care fund enables us to help the next dog we rescue who needs us. We greatly appreciate your support, and most importantly, so do the puppies!
