Most people who meet the boisterous Fred agree that he is an adorable figure. With the blocky head of a pit bull and the long, low body and outward facing paws of a Basset Hound, Fred is quite an attention getter.
Unfortunately for Fred, after being rescued from euthanasia by Copper’s Dream, he was diagnosed with entropion, a condition in which the eyelids are rolled in towards the eye, causing his eyelashes to rub against his eyeball. This condition is not only painful for Fred, but over time, it can cause corneal ulcers and damage which results in scarring that will affect Fred’s vision. We're raising funds for Fred to have a corrective surgery - so he can be free from pain, and have a long life of healthy vision. Thank you for your support! |
