Bert & Ernie's Heart Surgery

You wouldn't know it by spending time with these loving, sweet pups, but Bert and Ernie have Severe Pulmonic Stenosis. This means that their hearts have a hard time getting the blood flow they need.

We consulted with cardiologists and their best chance at long, happy lives was to have heart surgery, which took place on September 10. Their surgeries went as well as can be expected, with some minor post-operative complications that required return trips to the vet. We've set Bert & Ernie up for their best lives, and now they need forever homes.

They need your help

We want every dog we save to have their best chance at their second chance. Their surgeries and medical expenses ended up costing $4000 each, so we're looking to raise $8,000.
