A tribute to Esther
Adopted in 2020, Esther stole our hearts from day 1. Over the last three years, she gave us fierce loyalty and unconditional affection. She demonstrated immense stubbornness and a will to live as she battled through several illnesses. She'd sniff a bush for as long as you'd let her, and the only food she'd steal from you was french fries. During our time together, she swam in the Okanogan River and traipsed through snowy paths in the Colorado Rockies. We already miss her shuffling around the house, bopping us for attention, and napping in the backseat of the car on long drives. Truly, it was our honor to be her humans.
