MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS

Picture
It has been an amazing year for Copper's Dream. While founding the rescue in 2005, we have been rescuing dogs on a regular basis since early 2009. In this relatively short amount of time we have expanded our ability to save the lives of dogs in need. As of December 22nd, 319 dogs have been adopted since Copper's Dream began. As we approach the New Year, our goals for 2011 include increasing our capacity for rescue and adoption through recruiting more fosters and other volunteers. This will require continued and new outreach, as well as word of mouth! We hope you'll pass along your positive experiences with Copper's Dream to people you know so we can grow our network of compassionate and committed animal lovers, just like you!

THE GIFT OF FOSTERING

Picture
The most indispensable part of dog rescue is the act of fostering. A foster provides a temporary home for a rescued pup on their path to adoption into a permanent forever home. Copper's Dream provides all the supplies, and you provide the love! If you are interested in fostering, please see our Foster page for more information and an application. As a thank you to our fosters, we will start doing gift certificate drawings in 2011. Stay tuned!

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

They start out as Dreamin' Pups and then they find loving forever homes. Dreams do come true! We love to hear how the dogs who have been adopted are doing and profile these happy endings on the website. There are so many great updates, and we'd love more! Please send your updates with photos to Meghan at meghan.km@gmail.com.
